Driver's education $50

Driver's education is a requirement for anyone under 17.5 years of age wanting to obtain their learner's permit. It is a 30 hour course completed online. The student has up to two months to complete the course before the course expires. (course extension $10) Once the student has completed the program we are notified and issue the student the completion slip needed to take the written exam at the DMV.

teen behind the wheel $390

The six-hours of behind-the-wheel training all minors with their permit need to complete if they would like to obtain their license before the age of 18. The course is split up into three two-hour sessions throughout the six months the teen is required to hold their permit before they are eligible to take their behind-the-wheel exam. The first is the soonest available, second is no earlier than a month after the first and the third class is scheduled near the students eligibility date or within the week of the student's scheduled behind-the-wheel test.

Adult behind the wheel $130

Any adult who has their permit can enroll for a two-hour behind-the-wheel session with an instructor to learn how to drive or simply build your confidence behind-the-wheel. Adults don't have a requirement of hours needed, so you can purchase however many sessions you would like. After getting behind the wheel with an instructor they would be better to estimate how much time you may need or let you know areas you need improvement. You can purchase as you go.

dmv rental $100

You can rent one of our cars for your behind-the-wheel drive test. If your appointment is already scheduled we will to our best to try and accommodate that date. Ideally we would like to schedule the test day and time so we can schedule it when an instructor and car is available as our instructor's calendars fill up quickly so advanced notice is best.

teen program

OUR GOAL IS TO TEACH OUR STUDENTS TO BE SAFE CONFIDENT DRIVERS.

Normally our classes are 3 two-hour classes spaced out throughout the 6 month period a minor has to have their permit before being DMV eligible to receive their license. We space out our classes so the student can practice and accumulate the 50 hours they are required by California State Law to have behind the wheel with their parent or another licensed adult over the age of 25. The first session is the soonest available, the second is no sooner than a month after the first and the final session is reserved for near the student's behind the wheel test at the DMV. However, instructors may change that to benefit the student. It is possible an instructor may break up hours meeting 1 1/2 hours to allow the student who may need extra time with an instructor.

Parents, we know it can be stressful or nerve wrecking to get behind the wheel of a car with a teen but please do not forget you must by law but more importantly for your student give them the MINIMUM 50 hours they need. We at PC Driving School know that you care about your child's well being and safety, the more students drive the better students get.

If you happen to have procrastinated and your six months is up or your permit will be expiring soon we will try our best to get your classes finished depending on your driving skills and what we have available. We have upwards of 700 active student we have to have availability for as well. Our classes fill fast.
